Dear Lathamma,
Seeing the giant toes ( of Gomteshwara)… even I thinks it “SharavaBelagola”..:D… Lovely pics amma, esp the coconut one..
Oh gosh! Have a great time!
No idea. Where is it?
Gommateshwara’s toes at Shravanbelagola!
But why big little Ben there? Didn’t we struggle for centuries to kick them out?!
the british left india but big little ben fell so much in love with kanyakumari that he decided to stay back 😀 . btw, the original big ben junior from 1832, which still works, is somewhere in nagercoil.
Shravanabelagola it is. And lol at Asha’s comment about Big Ben… 😀
Hi,
I think this is at Kanyakumari and the statue is that of Thiruvalluvar. Good fun.
bang on target –  – lakshmi
Lakshmi……..I go with others….It must Sravana Belagola….I had a chance of going there once while am on an official trip ……….Was fascinated by the place…..The pics were very nice :-))) Especially the coconut one 🙂
I love the photos, can’t say I would have guessed though.

Oh yaa.. a beach – a giant statue – coconuts : … kanyakumari.. good guess Sukanya and an interesting post lakshmi dear..:D
Hmm, Kanyakumari…I was thinking of Sri Lanka (probably Ram’s feet…now don’t ask me where I got that thought from! ) 🙂 good post
Nice pics. Liked the ripples in Sand.
It is thiruvalluvar statue…I remembered after I asked you…it wasn’t there when we visited kanyakumari you know…which was some 15 years back…LOL!
Beautiful pictures! No idea about the place.
i think it is kanyakumari
tiruvalluvar statue
Hi Lakshmi,
Good pictures fr guessing…
these pics are from our weekend trip to Kanyakumari – those toes are of thiruvalluvar. sukanya was the first to get it right :). the trip was refreshing, will post on it soon.
lovely pics 🙂
He he he dong dong dong…Vazhisal..:)
Couldnt guess 😦 But lovely pics.
Kanyakumari? makes sense. I wondered about the giant toes, but the beach, the coconuts and the windmills were all Kanyakumari. The windmills reminded me of Aaralvaimozhi (what a lovely sounding name, I have no idea what it means though)..
Wow you mean we were all wrong. I have been to kanyakumari when i was in school. Youknow the yearly schooltrips.
Well it was atleast 23 long years ago :-(((
