This is an awesome chutney that I stumbled upon while trying to do something different with the usual chutney side dish. It’s super quick and quite yummy.
Ingredients
Tomatoes - 4 nos
Dry Red Chillies - 4 to 5 nos
Jaggery - 1 tablespoon

This spicy pachadi goes well with rice, rotis, idlis, and dosas.
Ingredients
Tomoto 1/4kg.
Greenchillies 2nos
Red chillies 2nos
Tamarind 1 inch
Garlic 2 pods (optional)

Thengai Podi

Podis are are good subsitutes for main menu on a busy day. Especially when we want to have a break from the regular stuff.
Ingredients
Grated coconut     1 cup.
Urad dal  2 tablespoons.
Channa dal  2 table spoons.

Channa dal ( kadalai paruppu) 1 cup.
Urad dal 1 cup.
Hing (asafetida) a small piece.

White til/ Sesame 2 tablespoons.

You can make Mulagai podi using dessicated dry coconut instead of til.
