Dear Latha Aunty,
I am new to blogging and was bowled over by the authentic collection of recipes on your blog.I am a software pro turned home maker. For 24 yrs,I have hardly been to the kitchen alone(thanks to my mom)but I love to eat and cook(which was helping mom or eternally hover over whatever she was preparing).
Now that I am a full-time home maker and in a foreign country,I spend my time trying out many dishes.Your blog is officially bookmarked on my computer:)
I even check it every few hours to see if there are any updates.Your exhaustive recipe list for Gokulashtami inspired me to try out the Uppu Cheedai,Vella Cheedai and Thattai.Though I used ready made flour(bought from the Sri Lankan shop here),all the dishes turned out really delicious. My sincere thanks to you.
My husband, being a Bengali, was totally new to such delicacies. He was too busy munching to say anything:)All the credit goes to you!!
Do keep posting recipes.
Cheers,
Shalini
